As a self-taught artist I have drawn, illustrated and painted for as long as I can remember. My interest as an artist has taken me in many directions providing me with varied art techniques and styles, which allow for a distinctive and unique quality in my work.

Over the years I have created visual art pieces for commercial art venues including books and book covers in many mediums from line-art pen and ink, watercolors, pastels, acrylic to oils. I enjoy the challenges of each medium and their unique visual properties.

Currently, my paintings are primarily commissioned portraits and life figure realisms, landscapes and abstract painting.
I have finished a series in oils named “Celebration of Women”. This has been a great success do to its popularity in sales throughout Southern & Northern California. From this collection of 24 paintings there currently remains 9 for sale. My wife Ruby, an accomplished artist as well, has claimed 3 paintings from this series that she cannot part with. Ruby is a great inspiration to me as well as an avid supporter and art critic. Without her this series would lack the passion and desire seen in every brush-stroke. The "Celebration of Women" series in oils is a visually exciting body of work that celebrates the graceful and voluptuous beauty of the female form. “Using an energetic color palette combined with strong painterly brush strokes and sensual line, the paintings integrate design to embellish the strong presence of the serene figures.
