Wildly creative and unique, Maria was born into an artistic family and is a natural talent. She was an artist as a child and then started painting again as an adult. She has taken art classes and is also self taught. Up to now her artwork has been held in private collections in the U.S and in Europe.

For every artist that has helped her on her journey she is extremly grateful. She paints to inspire others. Maria is an Romanian immigrant and first generation US Citizen. Some of her subject matter arises from dreams and personal stories. She is the Co-Founder of the Hummingbird Hill Art Society, which is a painting group consisting of mostly retired women. Her favorite painter is Henri Matisse.
